The Royal Oak Hotel is a Grade II listed building which was originally part of the Powis Castle Estate. It has recently undergone a magnificent refurbishment which has created a wonderful venue for your wedding.

We can cater for all sizes of wedding party, private dining for smaller groups in our restaurants, up to 120 seated for wedding breakfast in the Powis Suite or 150 people for an evening celebration. a civil ceremony may be held in our Jacobite Suite for up to 30 people.

Powis Castle is on our doorstep. Up until the 1920's the Royal Oak was actually part of the Powis Castle Estate. The Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust are based a few feet from the hotel. They have kindly put different visitor packs together for the use of our guests. The Trust looks after thirteen nature reserves in the region.
