ROYAL VISIT
Wednesday 28th of April 2010 was a historic day for Mid Wales, Welshpool and the Royal Oak. Her Majesty the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited the region and concluded with a reception for thirty local guests and lunch at The Royal Oak Hotel. 

The Hotel Directors and staff were delighted to be given the opportunity to provide hospitality for Her Majesty and it will probably a day that we never forget!
